Sir & Lady Elonna Aguh KSM, and the entire Chukwu family of Abajah in Nwangele Local Government Area of Imo State, were thrown into a mourning mood following the demise of Late Chief Raphael Chukwu (Chikwadoro 1 of Abajah).
Until his death, Chief Chukwu was the father-in-law to Sir Elonna Aguh, also an old boy of Saint Murumba College Jos.
On the 31st of May 2024, all roads led to Abajah, the hometown of the deceased as his earthly remains were laid to rest in his country home.
As is customary to Igbo Culture, Elonna Aguh being a son-in-law to the deceased paid a condolence visit to his brother-in-law, Oluchi Chukwu (1st son of the deceased and now the family head), and his wife Princess Aguh.

The ceremony started with a funeral mass for the deceased at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Amudara Abajah, from where the remains arrived at his country home in a motorcade amid tears from sympathisers and were finally committed to mother earth at mid-day.
Late Chief Chukwu, a businessman until his death, was notable for his philanthropy with an avalanche of testimonies of great men and women he established in their current jobs and businesses.
The funeral ceremonies witnessed condolence visits to the deceased home by in-laws, business associates, friends, and well-wishers.
“While we pray for a peaceful repose of his soul, we also pray that God will grant the family he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” Elonna Aguh prayed.
