Stakeholders of Isuochi traditional community in Abia State have pledged their support for former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, in her bid to return to the House of Representatives in 2027.
The pledge was made on Sunday, November 1, 2026, when the community received Onyejeocha, a former representative of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, during a homecoming visit to Umuahia, the Abia State capital.

They also commended her legislative contributions and political engagement, including her reported efforts to secure federal government intervention for the constituency through a delegation that visited the President.
The community’s position was conveyed to Onyejeocha and her entourage by Chief Royal Obi D. U. Ukaigwe and High Chief Sir Romanus Madu.

The prayers were led by the Chairman of the Isuochi Community Development Association (ICDA), Umuahia branch, Chief Francis Biko.
The event also featured a reception hosted by Dr. Onyii Madu, wife of the community leader, who was described as an active voice in the Isuochi women’s wing.
