The Bibles were shared among the school functionaries and the class prefects while cartons of Masters Energy Noodles were presented to the best students from JSS 1-SSS 3.

Meanwhile, the Nwankwo family instituted a scholarship scheme in the school aimed at providing financial support, making education more accessible to deserving students, empowering them to achieve their academic and career goals, and contributing to a brighter future.

The scholarship will see to the payment of school fees for 20 students who took first, second and third positions in each class in the school and will be renewable per term for the same positions for all the classes.

Chief Ebere Nwankwo Esq, a former APGA candidate for the Umunneochi State House of Assembly in the 2023 election, who reminisced his days in the school as a teacher before his sojourn to Yobe State for his NYSC, said he taught the senior students Mathematics and Economics, and as well, prepared the first graduands for WAEC in Economics and Mathematics.

According to him, the initiative will contribute to the community’s growth, as educated individuals will in the future become resources for societal progress and positive change.

“May this gesture instill hope and inspire you students to strive for excellence, knowing that your hard work and dedication can lead to recognition and support,” he asserted.

Responding, the principal of the College, Rev. Fr. Raphael Mmadu (Chimeremeze) commended the unprecedented efforts of the Nwankwo Family, especially for remembering the school, adding that the scholarship and the educational support to the students will create a lasting legacy, and inspire others to follow their philanthropic lead and perpetuating a cycle of kindness and support.
