The prestigious event, held at Landmark Centre, Lagos on the 18th of November 2023, convened industry stalwarts to honour females making significant strides in the Nigerian marketing and communications industry.

Coca-Cola Nigeria clinched the eminent title of the “Most Outstanding Beverage Company in Gender Inclusion.”

Underscoring its commitment towards a balanced workforce, Coca-Cola boasts 49% of its senior leadership positions being held by women across its Africa Operating Unit.

This milestone reflects significant progress in keeping with its plans to achieve 50% of women’s leadership representation globally by 2030.

Coca-Cola Nigeria’s win for the “Most Outstanding Beverage Company in Gender Inclusion” affirms the company’s dedicated drive towards fostering an egalitarian workspace.

Also noteworthy is the company’s strategy to utilize its business system and brands to ensure access to equal opportunities and foster a sense of belonging in the communities they serve.

Over the years, Coca-Cola has created impactful community programmes to drive sustainable development and effective stakeholder engagement.

The “Most Outstanding Marketing Professional of the Year—Beverages” winner, Adesoji Omoigui, expressed gratitude for receiving the prestigious recognition and attributed the accolade not only to her journey but also to the ethos of Coca-Cola Nigeria´s consummate dedication to creativity, authenticity, and its consumer-centric approach.
