“We all are going to this edition of Unusual Praise expectant. As we worship him, as we praise him, we know that God will do beautiful things in our lives, and he will come to bless us.
“We all expect God to do something as we worship him, something will happen and that thing will be unusual in the name of Jesus. All of us are going to encounter God that day, even those who have gone,” Tope Alabi said when asked about what her performance would be like at the event.
Beejay Sax on his part, stated that he will be bringing something new to the event, adding that whenever he plays his wind instrument, life comes out.
“I am a musician, there are ways we specially craft out things different from what you have ever heard before from us. We make arrangements, we play songs that are inspiring to the glory of God. Expect new jams in the Gen Z language from our lineups,” he concluded.
In the meantime, the chairman of the 2023 Unusual Praise organizing committee, Dr. Okey Nwuke, has noted that this edition of the event will be bigger in several ramifications, saying that more people will be empowered, while more artistes will be taking to the stage during the event.
Assuring attendees of maximum security during the event, Dr. Nwuke also noted that Unusual Praise which is also a platform for empowerment will witness a whole lot of praise.
“I assure you that the event will go smoothly without any incidents. We have many committees in place to ensure that the event goes smoothly and that no detail is left out because it’s the outcome of the committees’ work that will lead to the eventual event. So, we hope that we have a good event this year,” he concluded.
